The Frustration
It sounds simple, but it never was. Running a small business, I'd spend hours every month hunting down invoices from emails, supplier portals, and desk drawers. Then the follow-ups. The forgotten ones. The ones filed in the wrong folder.
I wasn't doing accounting. I was doing data entry. And it was stealing time from what actually mattered — growing my business.
The Experiment
I built an automation pipeline on a weekend. Drop invoices into a Google Drive folder. AI reads them — any format, any language. Data goes straight into a Google Sheet. Files get renamed and organized by month automatically.
No new software to learn. No portal to log into. Just Google Drive and Sheets — tools I was already using every day.
The monthly dread just... disappeared. I wasn't more productive — I was fundamentally less stressed.
