How it works

Choose the XML file exported by your invoicing software. The file is read in your browser: the viewer goes through every invoice, adds up the net amount and VAT for each rate from the invoice lines, and checks each series for missing numbers.

It is a quick sanity check before the monthly communication, not a replacement for the official validation on the Portal das Finanças. If a number looks wrong here, fix it in your invoicing software and export the file again.

Frequently asked questions

No. The file is opened and analysed in your browser with JavaScript. Nothing is sent to Faturiza or to anyone else, which is why the tool works even with confidential client data.

No. AT runs its own validation when the file is submitted. This viewer is a fast pre-check that catches the most common problems, such as missing numbers or invalid NIFs, before you get there.

The SAF-T (PT) billing file (faturação) exported by certified invoicing software, version 1.04_01. The accounting SAF-T has a different structure and is not supported.
